Ceramic Bells

Create your own set of ceramic bells to ring in the new year. Participants will use the slab method to create three bells to hang separately or nest together as one long chime. Surface design and adding embellishments will be covered.  Use these bells as reminders for intentions you've set for 2024 (or simply as beautiful decorative works). After glazing, bells will be constructed with white cotton string by the studio unless the participant chooses to construct themselves. Hang outside and hear them gently ring in the wind  or keep nearby to ring by hand as reminders that 2024 will be your best year yet! 

This workshop is best suited for beginners and those ages 14+. If possible, please bring a handtowel to class to use for wiping hands and any personal materials/attire. Please take note that no outside food is allowed in the studio. Beverages with a lid are welcome.
