CLAY PLAY

This Winter CLAY PLAY Session runs from 9:00-9:45AM for six Saturdays throughout December and January. The session dates are 12/9, 12/16, 1/6, 1/13, 1/20, & 1/27.

CLAY PLAY is a 45-minute sensory based Caretaker & Me session that runs for six weeks. This winter session is designed for toddlers ages 3-5 and encourages creative and active engagement between child, caretaker, and the materials at hand. Each week will present art and activities inspired by a different children's story. 

Each week provides -

- a children's book reading that will guide the session.

- an art activity that is completed and taken home at the end of the session.

- a different sensory based activity (moon sand, aqua beads, water and paint, etc.).

- time to work on a long term project that you and your child will complete by the end of the six weeks.

- opportunities to add to your child's memory book (a simple, blank booklet that can be used to create art and hold memories from each week).

The course maxes out at five children to ensure an enjoyable experience for all participants. Children must be accompanied by one adult, but it does not need to be the same adult every week. It is recommended that only one adult per child be present at each session. 

There is no makeup for a missed session. An art packet will be made for you and your child and sent out at the end of the six weeks that reviews all activities, materials, and instructions on how to create each sensory bin. If your child misses a class, the art activity can be set aside and picked up for your child to complete at home.
