Heart Shaped Platters

Get ready for Valentines Day by creating your own heart-shaped platter. Each participant will receive a prepped slab of clay and will learn how to inlay textures and patterns before choosing which to apply to their slab. Adding embellishments will also be covered. A variety of stencils will be provided to help determine the shape of your board OR you can design it on your own as you go! Platters will max out at ~12-13" at their longest dimension BEFORE firing.

This workshop is designed for beginners, but great for all experience levels. It is suited for ages 12+. If possible, please bring a towel to class to use for wiping hands and any personal materials/attire. Food is not permitted in the studio. Beverages with a lid are welcome.
