Relax and enjoy the soothing calm that is working with clay this Mother's Day at River Ceramics! 

Create and design a candle holder for your custom-poured candle (scent of your choice). Finished vessels will measure about 3.5" in diameter and stand about 4" tall to hold an 8-11oz candle. Participants will learn the process of slab building to create their candle holder. Methods of surface design, texture, and embellishments will be covered. Upon completion, participants will choose from three different scents from La Luce handpoured candles as well as a glaze color for their final piece. Vessels will be glazed by the studio to expedite candle production. Participants can expect to pick up their candle 3-4 weeks post workshop. 

Cost of workshop covers all materials, glazing, firing, and candle pouring. Vessels can be reused after candle has finished burning.

Please bring a towel to your workshop to wipe hands and any accessories/apparel. Smocks are available for use. Food is not permitted in the studio, however drinks with a closed lid are welcome.
