Nature-Inspired Plates (for kids!)

It has been a beautiful summer! This workshop is a great way to reflect on time spent outside with your child while preserving the essence of your summer in a handmade dish. We encourage participants to bring their own selections from nature - leaves, small wildflowers, grasses, and weeds (yes weeds!) print very successfully in clay. Bulky flowers with a lot of volume (such as roses or other thick blooms) are difficult to press, but the petals can be plucked and pressed in! The studio will also supply a variety of field flowers and greens freshly picked for the workshop.

Instructions and demonstrations on how to arrange and press your leaves and flowers will be demonstrated with direct guidance provided throughout.
