Wall Mirror Frames

Create your own mirror frame designed with your favorite designs, textures, words, and more. Each participant will receive one 9x12" slab of clay to create their mirror frame. Start by cutting the interior of your frame where your mirror will later be adhered. Then choose from a variety of tools and materials to design your frame as you please! Mirrors used for project completion will be rectangular in shape which will loosely dictate the overall shape of your mirror frame. 

Instructions and demonstrations on how to apply texture, surface design and adhere embellishments will be covered with direct guidance throughout. This workshop is great for all ages, but will require some parent/guardian assistance ages 10 and under. Workshop designed for and welcomes all experience levels. Cost includes all materials, firing, and glazing. A plastic mirror will be epoxied to the back side of your mirror frame unless participant requests otherwise.

Please bring a towel to wipe hands and any accessories/apparel. Food is not permitted in River Ceramics Studio. Drinks with closed lids are allowed. Projects will be ready for glazing about 14 days post workshop. An email with a link to book your glazing time will be sent as soon as projects are out of the kiln.
