Ceramic Planters

Service Description
Welcome Spring and Summer by creating a square planter for your home. Learn hand building techniques working with slabs. Each participant will receive a prepped clay to use to create their planter. Participants will learn how to inlay textures and patterns before choosing one to apply to their clay. Final planters are a 6" square top with a taper to the bottom before firing. This workshop is designed for all experience levels including beginners. Adults required to assist children ages 12 and under. After the workshop your piece will be fired and glazed to one color of your choice. An email will be sent once your piece is out of the kiln and ready for pick up. Looking for to make your piece more personalized? Ask your instructor about booking a glazing appointment to come in and glaze yourself. Please bring a towel to your workshop to wipe hands and any accessories/apparel. Smocks are available for use. Food is not permitted in the studio, however drinks with a closed lid are welcome.

We have these policies in place to provide proper support to the employee(s) and artist(s) booked specifically for your event along with the fact that another customer may have wished to book this event if the space/time was available. We are a small business aiming to provide the best service possible to our guests, patrons, and studio members. To receive a full refund or the option for free rescheduling, the studio must be notified at least 5 days prior to the event date. Any refund offered may be subject to a 4% processing fee. Any time period less than 5 days but more than 2 days prior to the event will result in a rescheduling/cancellation fee equal to 50% of the cost of your workshop or event. We do not allow rescheduling within 48 hours of the class and no refunds will be offered for cancellations.
