Service Description

This event is BYO and for ages 21+. Create your own chip and dip bowl to use for entertaining or to give as a thoughtful and unique gift. Learn the technique of working with slabs and how to cut and curve your clay to make a two part dish out of a single slab. Each participant will receive a prepped slab of clay with stencils available for guidance. Participants will have the opportunity to explore texture and surface alteration to customize their design. This workshop is designed for ages 21+ and recommended for all experience levels. Some knowledge of clay is a plus, but not required. Please bring a towel to your workshop to wipe hands and any accessories/apparel. Smocks are available for use. Food is not permitted in the studio, however drinks are welcome! After the workshop your pottery will be fired and glazed to one color of your choice. An email will be sent once work is out of the kiln and ready for pick up. Looking for to make your piece more personalized? Ask your instructor about booking a glazing appointment to come in and glaze yourself! Due to the required material prep, registration for this workshop will close 24 hours ahead of the event. Please plan accordingly!

We are a small business aiming to provide the best service possible to our guests, patrons, and studio members. To receive a full refund or the option for free rescheduling, the studio must be notified at least 5 days prior to the event date. Any time period less than 5 days but more than 2 days prior to the event will result in a rescheduling/cancellation fee equal to 50% of the cost of your workshop or event. Any refund offered may be subject to a 4% processing fee. We do not allow rescheduling within 48 hours of the class and no refunds will be offered for cancellations.
